Description
This linoprint was created in 2019, after studying forms of materials through observation and creating a drawing from intentional arrangements of materials. This arrangement references textile metaphor found in language.
Here strips of material have been woven and then dropped to allow them to form their own shapes in response to the woven form I have created. The arrangement feels as if it is in flux – a reoccurring theme in my work. The knot is moving, forming, reforming. This is captured in the choice of variable print edition where there will be changing colour and paper in each re-iteration.
The A4 variable print edition is printed in different colours, on acid free paper. If you are interested in a specific colour, please contact the artist. This print inspired the subsequent lockdown drawings you can see in my art gallery and shop.
